All You Need is Run

The AfterShokz team is about to embark on another journey. This time, we adventure to Texas, where our crew will be topping heads with the world’s safest and most comfortable headphones at the Humana Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Health & Fitness Expo.

From December 4th - 5th, we’ll join more than 90 expo vendors that outfit runners of all skill levels with gear and goodies. Expo hours are 12-7pm on Friday, and 9am-5pm on Saturday. For a chance to demo our open ear listening experience and some sweet deals, make sure you swing by Booth 415 (tell the girls Mike sent you!).

Racing events are taking place both Saturday and Sunday, with an event for every class of runner: 5K, 10K, half-marathon, full-marathon, two-person relay, and even an assortment of kids races! We’ll have our sights set on Sunday morning’s Half Relay, as two members of our marketing team will be lacing up with the best of them. Caleigh and Kim could use some love to get them through their 5.9 and 7.1 mile legs, so if you happen to be in town, be sure to give the AfterShokz Safety Squad your vote of confidence!

What makes this race special is the amount of entertainment embedded into the events. On every mile there will be local bands and talented musicians feeding a tempo set to the pace of each race. Runners and spectators will be able to, essentially, participate in a concert each counted mile of each race. On top of all the entertainment, Third Eye Blind will be performing a short concert around noon on Sunday. This event is open to the public. Oh, and did we mention it’s free?!

We’re all excited for this long weekend of events to begin, and the countdown to our crew’s departure is just over 12 hours from now. So, if you are reading this from the seat of your desk cheer us on from your home. If you are heading to San Antonio, we’ll see you there. #beopen
