You know AfterShokz as the sport headphone company on a mission to make your workouts safer, but we’ve also cultivated a strong hearing-impaired community. Why? Because our bone conduction technology can benefit individuals who may have damaged ear drums, but healthy cochleas. It’s not uncommon for our customers to ask how they can incorporate their AfterShokz into their everyday lives.
Our headphones are not hearing aids, but they can be used to assist with hearing when used in conjunction with a hearing aid app like Petralex. Petralex and other similar apps use the mic on your device to pick up surrounding sounds and transmit it through the headphones.
We’re not audiologists. We don’t have the knowledge or expertise to know whether our headphones can work for any particular person or medical condition. But if you have trouble hearing, why not give them a try? Find a retailer near you.

AfterShokz CMO Kim Fassetta is training to conquer her very FIRST Marathon - the 2018 Honolulu Marathon. But, she’s not doing it alone. We’ve teamed up with our friends at BibRave to give Kim a partner in crime, BibRave Director of Accounts and 7-time Marathoner, Andy Wallace. And we want you along for the ride.
