Caring for your AfterShokz headphones is important to ensure that you receive the best and longest use out of them. You can start by cleaning them on a regular basis by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth.
While our models are water-resistant, they are not waterproof. If the headphones do get wet, start by wiping them dry, and let them continue air drying before plugging them into your charger or returning them to your case.
Be mindful of the type of charger that you’re using to charge your headphones. We recommend the USB wall cubes, which will get you from zero to a full charge in 1.5 hours. Do not charge AfterShokz headphones with a USB power adapter that exceeds 5 volts or 2 amps, such as an iPad power adapter. High voltage chargers may affect battery performance.
Whether you have the portable pouch that came with your headphones, or you’ve upgraded to one of our hard cases, you should store your headphones in a safe place when not in use.
